KAILI SAWYER
Kaili has been hunting since she was 8 years old, when her family moved to Texas and bought a hunting ranch. Her dad introduced her to the outdoors when she was 8 and her love for the outdoors and hunting grew quickly. She shot her first deer when she was 10 and hasn’t stopped since. Kaili has shot many whitetail and has entered into the Muy Grande Deer Contest in South Texas multiple times. Kaili has taken first place in the women's archery category, third place in the youth category, and is part of the 170+ club.  Kaili now lives in Idaho with her husband and their two kids where they have continued hunting and started teaching their children all about it. She loves rifle hunting but will always try with her bow first. Kaili loves learning new things to be able to grow her skill set and to be able to teach what she has learned to others. Hunting in new areas has helped her expand her hunting knowledge and learn new ways of hunting. Kaili now wants to share her love for the outdoors and help everyone be able to have a successful hunt when they go out.
TY DETMER
The T-14 Ranch is owned and operated by Ty Detmer. Sonny, Ty's dad, would lease land while Ty was growing up so they could have somewhere to hunt South Texas Whitetail. Since then Ty has had a dream of owning a hunting ranch in South Texas so he could manage an outstanding heard of Whitetail deer. Ty has hunted all over the United States and has hunted many different types of animals including; bear, pheasants, mule deer, elk, whitetail deer, and many more. Ty won the Heisman Trophy in 1990 and went on to play in the NFL for 14 years on 6 different teams. After he retired from the NFL Ty spent his time at the T-14 Ranch and has taught his daughters how to hunt. He runs a fully guided operation as well as coaching football in Arizona. Ty also loves to share his love for the outdoors with everyone. He is one of our guides at Aim for the Hunt and is excited to share his knowledge with all of you.
